- Water heater: Check thermostat and flue.
- Plumbing system: Check the water pressure. Test it several times and see if it is consistent.
- Pipes: Check the copper piping for corrosion. Also, check all pipes for cracks and blockage.
- Main lines: See if they are clogged or broken.
- Sewer line: Check to see if erosion is occurring.
Once the licensed plumber has completed their checkup, they can recommend any repairs or replacements. Some may be basic repairs you might even be able to do yourself while others may be complicated and require the deft hands and experience of a plumbing professional.
